Last year’s Fishing to Hear Rodeo was a huge success! We were greatly blessed with the large amounts of participants and sponsors. As a result, we were able to raise ~85,000k. But another miracle happened just weeks after the surgery for Kyle. We received an invoice that was paid in full for our surgery. A prior glitch in the computer system rendered us an approval from our insurer to cover the surgery. Due to their mistake, they agreed to honor it by covering our costs. The second surgery is still not covered by most insurers. We have decided to take this miracle blessing and continue our mission to help other families. We have since donated half of the proceeds to the New Orleans Oral School and the rest went to our Fishing To Hear Foundation. This year, we plan on helping yet another child to pay for his/her 2nd cochlear implant. We hope with your help, we’ll be able to increase our surplus to help more than one child this year.
